Middle College Student Gets Perfect ACT Score

GTCHS senior George Johnston was one of three students statewide to receive a 36 on the ACT test.Johnston, who took the test in April, was one of 172 to receive the highest possible score out of 490,000 in the nation and abroad to take the test that month.
Johnston plans to graduate with 95 college credit hours and an associate's degree in the Arts and one in the Sciences from Greenville Technical College when he receives his high school diploma in May of 2009. George plans to major in math and teach on the college level after graduating from college.
