- Offers an alternative setting for students that may be having discipline, social, or academic difficulties in the traditional school environment.

- Students are either assigned to this program, retained after successful completion at parental request, or, accepted to the program upon parental request. Currently, students may not enter the program before the 5th grade and must move on to the traditional setting after the 10th grade.

- Program Summary
- The Knox Street Alternative School Program is a systematic option designed to meet the needs of those students who find difficulty managing the social, academic, and behavioral challenges associated with being a part of a large, rapidly growing school district. Program requirements are very specific, classes are very small, and students must complete requirements before returning to the traditional setting. The program staff provides a caring and demanding environment designed to give these students what they will need to succeed in school and life.
