- Program Description
- The Center for Accelerated Preparation is a separate middle school center housed on the campus of Richland Northeast High School. Targeting the approximately 30% of students who are a grade level behind by 7th grade. CAP gives participating students the Carnegie units, study skills, character strengths, and career-related direction necessary to successfully rejoin their peers in the 10th grade.

- Students participating in CAP will enter high school as 10th graders with the courses and skills they need to graduate in three years.

- Selective criteria include but are not limited to: Grades, Test Scores, Teacher Recommendations, Interview, and an Application.

- Acceleration for students who are one grade level behind by 7th grade.
