Program Description
The Center for Accelerated Preparation is a separate middle school center housed on the campus of Richland Northeast High School. Targeting the approximately 30% of students who are a grade level behind by 7th grade. CAP gives participating students the Carnegie units, study skills, character strengths, and career-related direction necessary to successfully rejoin their peers in the 10th grade.
Program Mission/Goals
Students participating in CAP will enter high school as 10th graders with the courses and skills they need to graduate in three years.
Program Attendance Requirements
Selective criteria include but are not limited to: Grades, Test Scores, Teacher Recommendations, Interview, and an Application.
Area of Academic or Career Focus
Acceleration for students who are one grade level behind by 7th grade.
